Grand Theft Auto 6 (Grand Theft Auto Six) is a game rumored to be in development by studio Rockstar Games. However, at the moment, there has been no confirmation that this game is even in development, the most that fans have in terms of information is rumors and unconfirmed news. Players are anxious to see a new installment in this franchise: given that the last entry, Grand Theft Auto Five, was released eight years ago, many feel that a new game is all but guaranteed.

Another reason why Rockstar may not be working on GTA VI, Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar is a meticulous and patient studio, wanting to work on only one game at a time, giving it their signature polish that fans have come to expect from Rockstar. Only when they feel finished with Red Dead Redemption 2 may they feel like working on their next game, and even then it may not be in the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
